Door wraps (as seen here) and Jamb Jackets are a simple way to improve the security of a door and frame without having to replace either.
Most residential doors and frames are wood or fiberglass. Though these doors are aesthetically pleasing, they all suffer from the same flaw, they split when enough pressure is applied. Products like door wraps and bolt buddy’s are an excellent way to increase the split resistance of a residential door.
